Steve was born and raised (the youngest of fourteen children) in Napoleon, Ohio. After graduating from Napoleon High School, he studied mathematics at The University of Dayton and political science at The University of Toledo. He received his National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD--now known as FINRA) registered representative licensing* at the age of twenty, while attending The University of Toledo. He has continued his industry education through advanced studies in financial planning, investments and insurance planning through the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He earned his Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Steve started his career with a major New York Stock Exchange firm and spent over nine years as a financial consultant and regional manager for the retail investment division of a major regional bank. He became that company’s youngest Vice President in 1996 and managed offices in Toledo, Ohio and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Steve returned to Napoleon in 1999 and has become actively involved in the community. In addition to serving as a city councilman for the City of Napoleon from 2002 - 2008, Steve has volunteered his time to the United Way of Henry County (Board of Directors - 2004 & 2015 President, Executive Committee, Funds Distribution Committee Chairman, 2003 & 2014 Campaign Chairman), past member of Henry County Community Improvement Corporation (Board of Trustees - 2004 Vice President), Napoleon Church of the Nazarene (Church Board, Finance Committee, Adult Christian Education Teacher), Napoleon Rotary Club (Club Secretary), past member of Napoleon Area Schools Audit Committee, past member of Henry County Hospital Foundation Investment Committee, past member of Henry County Community Foundation Board of Trustees, and as a youth coach (Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Football).

Steve, his wife, Penny, two children, Connor and Hailey, and dogs, Sam and Tobin, live in Napoleon. The family are active members of Napoleon Church of the Nazarene.

Penny is married to Steve and helped found Northwest Capital Financial Group in 2003. Penny (Pritchett) was born in Independence, Missouri, grew up in Waterville, and is a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School and Ohio University. After college, Penny worked in the human resources department of HCR (Health Care & Retirement Corporation, now Manor Care). After the birth of their first child, Penny stayed at home to raise the couple’s children. She joined Northwest Capital Financial Group on a permanent basis in 2005 and serves as Client Services Manager.

In addition to keeping up with the kids’ activities, Penny is very active in the Napoleon community. She is Vice President of the Missions Council at Napoleon Church of the Nazarene, past Secretary of Napoleon Soccer Club, past President of the Arts Council at St. Paul Lutheran School, past member of the Athletic Boosters at St. Paul Lutheran School and a neighborhood canvasser for United Way. Penny was also instrumental in bringing First Book to Henry County. This program is now an integral part of United Way of Henry County's Early Childhood Development Program.

Penny and Steve, their two kids, Connor and Hailey, and their dogs, Sam and Tobin, live in Napoleon. The family are active members of Napoleon Church of the Nazarene.

Matt was born and raised in Okolona, Ohio. He graduated from Napoleon High School and studied accounting at the University of Toledo. He passed his Series 7 examination to become registered with NASD (now FINRA)* in 2001. Prior to helping start Northwest Capital, Matt had spent time as a supervisor in the manufacturing industry and as a licensed operations manager for the investment division of a major regional bank. He also spent time as a mortgage loan originator.

Matt is very active in the recreation programs and high school athletics in Napoleon. He is President of the City of Napoleon Parks and Recreation Board, past co-Vice President with his wife, Diane, for Napoleon Football Moms and Pops, a statistician for the high school varsity football team, the junior vasity baseball coach at the high school, league officer for Napoleon Senior Little League and secretary for Napoleon Baseball Backers.

Matt and Diane (Sattler) live in Napoleon with their sons, Brock (BGSU) and Luke, and attend St. Augustine Catholic Church.
